RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Pathology Services, responsible for the day to day general operation of the laboratory working with the management staff to ensure adherence to department standards, metrics and regulatory compliance Collaborates with medical staff to facilitate optimal patient outcomes and overall operational efficiency within the scope of service. Promotes the University Health System Customer Relation’s policy.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
B.S. in science or B.A. in hospital/business administration is required. Registry by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) or equivalent required. Master’s degree in health care administration, business administration or other related field from an accredited college or university is strongly recommended with a minimum of five years of related, progressively responsible health care experience is required.
