Position Summary Information
Primary Purpose
This position independently coordinates student-athlete academic success initiatives, analyzes academic performance and eligibility data, develops and implements intervention strategies, evaluates program effectiveness, and provides professional advising and consultation to student-athletes and campus partners. The coordinator exercises independent judgment in identifying student needs, recommending solutions, and supporting compliance with NCAA, conference, and university requirements.

Work requires frequent sitting and computer use. Occasional walking, standing, walking across campus, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and reaching. Constant verbal and written communication. May be required to lift up to 25 lbs. Travel around campus to meet student and business needs.
Work is primarily performed in a standard office and classroom environment with use of computer and phone, occasionally performed in sports facilities. Work performed during standard business hours as well as frequent nights and weekends. Limited travel required.
Hiring Range $70,304 - $73,408 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. Background Check Statement
