Clarendale of Mokena is searching for an Assistant Director of Nursing.The Assistant Director of Nursing is an LPN who is responsible for the staffing/scheduling and the overall supervision of nursing care in Assisted Living & Memory Care. #greatplacetowork

Essential Job Duties

  • Supervises direct nursing care.
  • Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated or staffing issues arises.
  • Makes routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment.
  • Assures accuracy and completeness of medical records.
  • Coordinates, conducts, and documents the resident assessments, care plans and conference in the absence of the DON.
  • Supervises nursing personnel on all shifts. Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of nursing staff.
  • Assists with orientation of nursing personnel.
  • Participates in family/resident counseling.
  • Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
  • Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.HOSPITALITY FOCUS:
