Forest Hill Heights has an immediate need for an Assistant Director of Nursing.

The ADON working in conjunction with the Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with all state, federal, and local guidelines/regulations to ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.

Job Responsibilities:
• Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel.
• Guide staffing procedures.
• Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures.
• Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards.
• Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed.
• Manage record-keeping procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations.
• Report to Director of Nursing.
The Assistant Director of Nursing should be an LPN with strong managerial and administrative skills. Being efficient, dedicated, a good listener, and a problem-solver is what will open our door for you. The goal is to foster an excellent environment that will support everyone in working to the benefit of the facility and residents alike.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Current MD Nursing license, in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
