Erin Mills Lodge has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Assistant Director of Nursing Care - BSO & PERT Lead to join their team.

• Status: Temporary / Full-Time
• Location: 2132 Dundas Street West. Mississauga, ON. L9T L5K

The expected hiring range for this position is $67,980 to $76,450. This role falls within a broader internal salary band, with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance.

To be successful as our new BSO - Assistant Director of Nursing Care, you will:

  • Have a current registration as a Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Maintain current Heart Save Level of CPR
  • Support training, collaboration and development of the PERT Team
  • Act as a Specialist Leader pertaining to all aspects of the Personal Expressions Resource Team
  • Experience working with BSO concepts and protocols
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
  • Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the Assistant Director of Nursing Care role

It would be an asset if our new Assistant Director of Nursing Care has:

  • Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation and regulations applicable to the long-term care sector, including the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 and Health & Safety
  • Three (3) years of experience leading and directing department(s) in a healthcare setting
  • Education and Experience in BSO practices
  • Experience working in a Long-Term Care setting
