ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Director of Nursing for a one-year fixed term contract (Day/night Rotation)

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and enjoy the challenges of working in a dynamic team environment and possess the following skills at a minimum:

• Registered with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Nursing Degree or greater essential
• Minimum 5 years post registration nursing
• Proven clinical, professional and managerial experience at CNM2 level or higher in acute care
• Effective Leadership and Communication skills
• Management qualification desirable
• Have experience of working in a multi-professional environment.
• Demonstrated competencies in clinical governance, audit, risk assessment, staff management, resource management and regulatory frameworks
• Have experience of implementation of service improvement
• IT literacy essential
