We are hiring Assistant Director Of Nursing Posts for a hospital located in Tralee, Ireland. Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Director of Nursing for a one-year fixed term contract (Day/night Rotation) Responsibilities Ensure the maintenance of patient safety at all times. Maintenance of effective throughput of patients within the service. Ensuring that workloads are arranged in a manner that maximises the use of resources. Analysing, monitoring and forecasting trends relevant to the service Direct and active participation in service planning, implementation and evaluation in overall resource management of the service, including continuous quality audit and performance measurements Ensuring the application of best practice including the generation of action plans to continuously improve the provision of services. Requirements Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Nursing Degree or higher qualification essential Minimum of 5 years’ post-registration nursing experience Proven clinical, professional and managerial experience at CNM2 level or higher in an acute care setting Effective leadership and communication skills Management qualification desirable Experience working in a multi-professional environment Demonstrated competence in clinical governance, audit, risk assessment, staff management, resource management and regulatory frameworks Experience in implementing service improvements Essential IT literacy Benefits Top pay and great working conditions Immediate Start, Full-time Permanent Great professional development opportunity Continued education and training.
