The Assistant Director of Access & Engagement is a key leadership role focused on the "Engagement" and "Support" pillars of the Family Access and Engagement department. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the strategic alignment of Wu Yee’s community-facing services, ensuring that families transition from initial enrollment into a robust ecosystem of support. By overseeing the FCP, R&R, and FRC teams, you will ensure that parent advocacy, resource navigation, and center-based family programming are integrated, culturally responsive, and meet all Head Start and city-wide performance standards
Reporting to the Director of Family Access and Engagement, this is a newly created position with three manager level direct reports with 15+ staff reporting up in three program areas. We are seeking a systems level leader with enterprise operational leadership within mission-driven child and family systems. Candidates with multilingual abilities, experience working in immigrant communities, and deep understanding of the cultural strengths of San Francisco families are strongly encouraged to apply.
