Part timeThe Assistant Director of Development serves as a strategic partner to the Director of Development in advancing sustainable Ministry Partnership Development (MPD) across the Mid-Atlantic Region. This position provides operational, coaching, and programmatic leadership for the Access Pathway Fellows (APF) Network Capacity Building Program while supporting regional fundraising initiatives, donor engagement events, and staff development efforts.

Maturing Disciple of Jesus Christ:
Every InterVarsity minister is to be a maturing disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, growing in obedience to the Scriptures. The marks of a long-term love relationship with Christ in the fullness of His Spirit are described in Galatians 5:22: “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” In the workplace, this fruit is revealed in healthy working relationships which encourage all ministers to accomplish their work and enhance their focus on the spiritual aspects of their work.

Pay Range: $44,016.00 - $58,680.00 per year
Pay: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living. The actual salary received,including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual’s ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details.

In 2018 InterVarsity publicly launched our 2030 calling, a commitment to see Christian Fellowships on all 2,500 U.C. college campuses with more than 1,000 students. Presently, more than half of those schools appear to have no ministry presence whatsoever.
