
[What the role is]
The Assistant Director (Network & Comms) leads strategic communications and network development for the five CDCs, driving Whole-of-CDCs branding, media engagement, and community partnerships. The role supports CDCs in complementing the government's community engagement efforts through common-based programmes and ensures sound corporate governance across CDCs and CPD.
[What you will be working on]
Strategic Communications
Assist SD to develop strategic communications and strategies in relation to Whole-of-CDCs policies implementation.
Develop Strategic comms strategies and messages to support Strategic planning work and its implementation.
Develop central narratives for common based programmes, media plans and media management, which include preparing media releases, engaging media to events, coordinating media interviews/filmings.
Monitor and analyse media coverage and trends on common based programmes.
Develop and implement consistent CDC brand identity though different platforms (especially digital) such as social media, website, corporate video; and through writing of CDC stories to illustrate the brand.
Drive social media initiative under Whole-of-CDCs (example Tik Tok, Telegram and other online platforms) and raise the number of followers and subscribers.
Improve and ensure contents in CDC main website is up to date.
Implement whole of CDC branding for example, corporate video, corporate kit and other publicity materials/collaterals
Network Development and Growth (include Partners and Stakeholders)
Engage partners and stakeholders and grow and connect communities together to build their capabilities to meet emerging and existing needs (for example, connecting learning and caring communities)
Handle CDC dialogues, CDC website, PA Corporate Members, Sense making and coordination (RM)
Coordinate and evaluate the nominations of partners from CDCs for PA Community Spirit Awards.
Help CPD to grow the partners for Whole-of-CDC Community Spirit Awards.
Corporate Governance
Ensure CDCs’ corporate governance such as the CDC Rules, renewal of Institute of Public Character (IPC) status, annual reports submissions, asset management and procurement.
Office of the Mayors (Foreign delegations/International Relations/Overseas meetings/forums)
Common Based Programmes
Social Innovation and Community Development
Develop and incubate innovative programmes to meet emerging and existing, and increasingly complex needs.
Secretariat (Meetings and Parliamentary Matters)
