Job Description

Responsibilities

·Develop and manage innovative workforce initiatives with labor and management stakeholders in multiple health systems and hospitals.

·Manages strategic outreach activities to identify workforce needs and develop initiatives for the division and team.

·Collaborate with internal stakeholders across TEF divisions to implement workforce development initiatives.

·Oversee and manage the organizational development consulting on joint projects and initiatives to labor and management stakeholders in multiplehospitals.

·Direct, supervise and develop consultants and field coordinators on strategies and practices for most effective interventions with labor and management stakeholders in hospitalsystems.

·Observe staff in the field to provide feedback, training and coaching to ensure quality programming.

·Support the Director in developing and directing the strategic direction of the Health Systems and Hospitalsdivision.

·Manage annual performance evaluation process for team members including quarterly check-ins on projects andgoals.

·Partner with all levels of management, physicians, union staff and members to coach them into working effectively together at larger hospital systems or strategic organizations, present at national conferences and publications ofarticles.

·Document progress and results of projects through case studies, Executive Summaries, reports to Directors, Senior sponsors, project management and other creativemethods

·Develop curriculum/workshop presentations to expand the knowledge, skills, and attitudes ofclients.

·Perform additional duties and projects as assigned bymanagement.

Qualifications

·Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, Organization Development, Healthcare, or equivalent years of work experiencerequired.

·Minimum six (6) years’ experience in organizational development and/or leading labor management initiatives required to include four (4) years of supervisory experiencerequired.

·Proficient in Microsoft365

·Effective Leadership skills in organization relational dynamics related to labor and management relationship.

·Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing complex relationships.

·Excellent problem solving, organizational and time managementskills.

·Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work both independently and as a teamplayer.

·Ability to develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships.

·Experience working in a unionized, not for profit or health care settingpreferred.
