
The Assistant Director (Field Governance) leads the Field Governance Office (FGO) within the GCD Office, serving as the subject matter specialist across one or more functional domains — Finance, Procurement, Revenue, Grants Management, or Charity Governance. You will translate headquarters policies into practical guidance for constituency offices, strengthen compliance standards across Grassroots Organisation (GRO) operations, and partner with the Grassroots Services Division to build governance capability at the ground level.
· Experience: At least five years of working experience in a management role, with a track record of overseeing governance, financial management, procurement, or audit functions
· Skills (Must-have): Sound knowledge of financial governance, procurement regulations, and grants management; strong analytical skills with the ability to identify control weaknesses and drive improvements; ability to translate policy requirements into clear, practical operational guidance; meticulous with strong attention to detail; and effective interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
· Skills (Good to have): Familiarity with digital tools such as RPA or data analytics platforms; experience in field operations or community development environment; and prior exposure to charity governance or GRO financial management
