
NYU's Leonard N. Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director, Executive Programs. The selected candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for the Executive MBA Program, ensuring smooth delivery of the EMBA program held at NYU Stern and executive education locations off-site. The Assistant Director will plan, staff, and manage the logistics and operations of program days and special events. Other responsibilities include contracting and managing e-payments for faculty, collecting and organizing program materials, and coordinating program logistics. The selected candidate will interact with a wide range of constituents, including students, professors, administrative teams, on-campus support staff, and outside vendors. Candidates can be located in either the New York City or Washington D.C. area.
The selected candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience including professional experience in a service business that requires managing multiple tasks/projects and satisfying multiple high level constituencies or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and to produce clear, written explanations of complex processes are required. Attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment and progress on multiple projects simultaneously are also required.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $84,000.40. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
