
Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Critical Care to oversee the operations of our ICU/CCU departments. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care through the establishment and maintenance of clinical standards of practice and performance. The ideal candidate will support departmental operations through effective fiscal, resource, and human resource management while collaborating on the development and implementation of hospital-wide patient care programs, policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives. This position also plays a key role in fostering strong communication and collaboration with providers, as well as supporting recruitment and retention strategies, staff education, and competency development. Additionally, the role is responsible for leading and implementing process improvement projects aligned with organizational strategic initiatives and contributing to the overall strategic planning efforts for nursing services and the hospital.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
MSN preferred and/or will be required within two years of hire.
Five years of nursing leadership experience with a strong knowledge of critical care practice required.
