Compensation Range:
$71,134.87 - $113,068.85
Position Summary:
Hiring Salary Range: $71,134.87 to $78,248.35 depending on qualifications.
Supervises, coordinates, and directs the daily administrative and operational functions of the Nursing Department to ensure efficient program operations and achievement of departmental goals. Supervises assigned staff, manages data reporting and analysis, coordinates grant development activities, supports accreditation and regulatory compliance, and assists the Dean and Associate Dean with strategic initiatives and special projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises and evaluates assigned administrative and support staff.
- Develops, implements, and monitors departmental policies, procedures, and operational processes.
- Assists with planning, administration, and monitoring of departmental budgets and resources.
- Oversees collection, analysis, and reporting of departmental data, including enrollment, retention, completion, licensure, workforce, and other performance metrics.
- Develop dashboards, statistical reports, and outcome analyses to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Coordinates data collection and reporting for accreditation, regulatory, and institutional effectiveness requirements.
- Identifies grant opportunities and leads the development, writing, submission, and management of grant proposals and funded projects.
- Monitors grant compliance, budgets, outcomes, and reporting requirements.
- Supports strategic planning, workforce development initiatives, and community partnerships.
- Represents the Nursing Department at college and community meetings as assigned.
- Assists with special projects and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, healthcare administration, project management, institutional research, grants administration, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in nursing, healthcare, or allied health education.
- Experience with statistical analysis, institutional reporting, and data visualization.
- Experience developing and managing grants and externally funded projects.
- Experience supporting accreditation and regulatory compliance processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of data management, statistical reporting, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of grant writing, grant administration, and budget management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret regulations, analyze complex data, and make recommendations that support departmental and institutional goals.
