GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

Must have a good knowledge and basic clinical procedures pertaining to their consultant speciality, needs and requirement. • Evaluating and ensuring optimization of best practices based on current clinical protocols background. • To follow all rules and regulations of Hospital, policy and procedures and statuary certifications.

S :

• Registered and update patient’s data accordingly (including patients’ demographic, preparation of forms, and open a case note for new patients.)
• Responsible for recording, inform and follow-up with patient appointment To ensure all patient appointment card are properly documented and patients are well informed.
• Responsible for checking and arranging the items inside clinic
• Responsible to charge all inventories and equipments items. Responsible to bind consultant clinical notes in patients’ medical case notes
• Daily forward consultant charges and other charges to the cashier
• Fully responsible for the transaction and retrieval case notes as requested.
• Return all outpatient medical case notes after patients’ treatment. To identify the financial status of the patient.
• To maintain and safeguard the Confidentiality of patient medical case notes
• To follow and adhere to the confidentiality policy subject to Personal Data Protection Act and PHFSA.
• To carry out other responsibilities or duties assigned from time to time by superior.
• To follow the instruction in order to meet the hospital vision and mission To maintain proper housekeeping in the clinics. Clean, neat and safe environment in the clinics.
• Assist in reporting unsafe practices, conditions, near misses, incidents and accidents to superior Comply with Company policies, Health and Safety policies.
• To take reasonable care for safety and health of himself/herself and other persons who may be affected by her acts or omission at work.
• To co-operate with Hospital Management requirement imposed on the Management by the Occupational Safety and Health Act or any regulations made therein.
• To do any task related to Occupational Safety and Health Act as instructed by Management of hospital
• To wear or use at all times any personal protective equipment or clothing provided by the Management for the purpose of preventing risks to his / her safety and health.
• To follow strictly all rules and regulations stated by Management of hospital on the PPE.
• To comply with any instruction or measure on Occupational Safety and Health Act or any regulations made therein.
• To follow strictly the Occupational Safety and Health Act or any regulations.
• To establish and maintain the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
• Assisting to establish and maintain the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
• Participate actively in any other new service that introduced Conformance to ISO 9001:2008, Environmental Act, OHS Act and Hospital Accreditation requirements.
• Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2008, Environmental Act, OHS Act and Hospital Accreditation are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
• Prompt and effective action in taking corrective measures in cases of ISO 9001:2008, Environmental Act, OHS Act and Hospital Accreditation requirements.
• Achievement of satisfactory department performance on the external and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance to Patient Safety Goals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008)
• To ensure compliance at all points of engagement at all times Ensure to actively participate in 5S activities
• Responsible and accountable to carry out all 5S activities directed by the Management Ensure adhere to Standard People Practice (SPP)
• To comply with Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) policy.
• To ensure compliance to Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) policy.
• Mobility of the work station. Must be able and prepared to rotate duties and mobile with other staff or work station.

• Monthly report. To submit all statically report as instructed before 5th of each month or before end of 1st week of the month.
• To adhere to Infection Control and prevention policy in the clinics. To ensure compliance of Infection Control and prevention policy
• To undertake any other assignment given by superior.
• To comply with the instruction. To perform any other duties as and when required by the management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Education:

• Diploma in business with knowledge and skills in providing care and services to patient and family.
• Or SPM with proficiency in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Knowledge and Experiences:

• Minimum 1 years experience in any servicing environments

• Proficient in writing and conversing in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Caring, honest, and responsible workers and team player
• Microsoft Office literacy
