SEEC's mission is to enhance education in North Dakota through quality services and visionary leadership.
The SEEC is one of six regional education associations originally created in July 2005 with 17 schools. In July 2008, the SEEC merged with the South Central Education Cooperative (SCEC) and its 18 schools. Currently, SEEC serves over 35,000 students, over 3,500 teachers, in 36 public schools districts and 4 private schools. Through this merger the Executive Committees and Governing Boards wanted to build on the strengths of each organization and expand services to support schools in increasing student achievement.
