Who we are looking for

We are seeking a highly skilled and talented Assistant Controller CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with strong interpersonal and analytical abilities to oversee financial reporting and compliance requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work with multiple markets in addition to the local one and to gain exposure to complex accounting matters relevant to listed entities. Therefore, the ideal candidate should demonstrate a high level of curiosity and a strong willingness to learn.

What you will do

• Support and supervise Accounting and FP&A activities for one of the company’s major subsidiaries in Latin America, reporting to the Controller responsible for the subsidiary.
• Provide ongoing support in key financial areas, including revenue recognition, inventory, reconciliations, project accounting, and accruals.
• Perform quarter-end accounting close procedures for the local office.
• Support financial audits by coordinating with external auditors and preparing required documentation.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining internal controls as part of SOX implementation.
• Assist in local administrative tasks.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience working in similar roles for global organizations.
• Big 4 graduate - advantage.
• Familiarity of US-GAAP – advantage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) - a must
• Strong analytical skills and business understanding.
• Accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial processes of a publicly traded company.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel knowledge and proficiency in large databases with high accuracy and attention to detail.
