Job Category: AccountingUniversal Parking is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support day-to-day accounting operations and partner closely with leadership on financial reporting and process improvement. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer on-site in our Downtown Atlanta office.
Annual Salary: $125,000
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
- Maintain general ledger and oversee reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Lead and develop accounting staff
- Identify process improvements and support operational efficiency

Qualifications
- Strong experience in financial reporting, GL, and reconciliations
- Solid understanding of AP/AR and payroll processes
- Experience with audits and compliance
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred
- Experience in transportation, parking, or multi-location operations is a plus.
