Job Title: Assistant Community Manager

The Assistant Community Manager plays a key role in supporting daily property operations while helping ensure compliance with affordable housing programs and fostering a positive living environment for residents. This position requires strong organizational skills, financial awareness, and a passion for resident engagement.

Working closely with the Community Manager, you will assist in maintaining operational excellence, supporting team development, and upholding LSA's mission and values.

What You'll Do

  • Support day‑to‑day operations of the property with a strong focus on resident satisfaction
  • Assist with compliance related to LIHTC and tax credit programs
  • Help monitor financial performance, including occupancy, rent collection, and adherence to budgets
  • Support supervision, coaching, and development of on‑site team members
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely resolution of work orders
  • Assist with community engagement initiatives and maintain positive resident relationships
  • Represent and uphold LSA's mission, values, and standards in all interactions

What We're Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily housing
  • At least 1 year of experience working with LIHTC or affordable housing programs
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Assistant Community Manager or related role
  • Experience with RealPage property management software preferred
  • Strong organizational, financial, and operational skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Self‑motivated, dependable, and results‑driven
