The Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach supports all aspects of the program, including recruiting,
player development, practice planning, game preparation, and administrative duties. This
position works closely with the head coach to foster a positive student-athlete experience
while promoting academic success, personal growth, and competitive excellence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Player Development (50%)

  • Coach and develop student-athletes in individual and team skill development

  • Assist with position-specific instruction during practices and games

Film and Game Planning (25%)

  • Assist in practice planning and implementation

  • Analyze opponents and contribute to scouting reports and game strategy

  • Support film breakdown and performance analysis

Recruiting (25%)

  • Identify and evaluate prospective student athletes

  • Build and maintain relationships with recruits, families, coaches, and club programs

  • Communicate with prospective students throughout the recruiting process

Requirements:

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively for recruiting and competition

  • Commitment to supporting the academic, athletic, and personal development of student athletes

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level

  • Strong knowledge of lacrosse fundamentals, strategy, and player development

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively for recruiting and
    competition

  • Commitment to supporting the academic, athletic, and personal development of
    student-athletes

Compensation Pay Range:
