Job Description

Organization's Summary Statement: The Assistant Coach of Women's Field Hockey will assist the Head Coach and Associate Coach with the daily operations, development, and support of a nationally competitive NCAA Division I Field Hockey program. Responsibilities include assisting with student-athlete coaching and development, on-campus recruiting coordination, opponent scouting, and team travel logistics. The Assistant Coach will maintain positive relationships with student-athletes, staff, and the university community, while ensuring strict compliance with all NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and institutional rules and regulations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and university rules and regulations, as well as dedication to the full academic development of student-athletes. Strong communication, organization, and administrative skills.

Physical Demands: The scope of the position requires evening and weekend (Non-standard work hours). Constantly moves about the facility and event site before, during and after events to service clients; constantly communicates via telephone, email and in-person with others to exchange accurate information. Standing, walking, kneeling/crouching, balancing and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Preferences: Coaching and/or playing experience preferred.
