The Familias Unidas Niños Sanos (FUNS) project is a research program designed to improve dietary habits, physical activity, and body mass index outcomes among young Latino children through caregiver engagement, skill building, and health education.
The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator supports the Program Manager and Principal Investigator in the operational management of study activities. Responsibilities include assisting with study implementation, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations, and supporting the achievement of project milestones and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills are essential.
This role requires the ability to work independently in community or field-based settings and to build and maintain effective relationships with community partners. The candidate must be comfortable interacting with children, parents, and families.
Qualifications include fluency in English and Spanish, reliable transportation for regional travel, and availability to work across communities in Los Angeles County to support recruitment, enrollment, and data collection. Evening and weekend availability is required based on project needs.
This is a full-time, limited appointment that may convert to career.
