The Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology invites applications for a non-tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor of Counseling to begin as early as Spring 2027. The primary responsibility of the clinical assistant professor will be to serve as director of the department’s on-campus counseling and training clinic. Additionally, this individual will be expected to engage in community outreach initiatives, teach practicum/internship; advise students; and participate in program development.
The department offers CACREP-accredited master’s level programs in clinical mental health counseling; marriage, couple, and family counseling; school counseling; addictions counseling; and a doctoral program in Counselor Education. In 2020, the department was named the SACES Outstanding Master’s Level Program.
