Job Description

Location: 2 Wisconsin Drive Chevy Chase, Maryland (On-site) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional early morning coverage and evening availability until 7:00 PM, up to three times per week.

Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 annually

Embark Behavioral Health’s Chevy Chase Outpatient Clinic is seeking a Licensed Assistant Clinical Director to join our mission-driven team reducing adolescent and young adult anxiety and depression. This leadership role supports our OP, IOP, and PHP programs, ensuring clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee treatment planning, progress monitoring, and aftercare coordination.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and crisis interventions.

  • Collaborate with the Clinic Director on daily operations and staff supervision.

  • Ensure compliance with documentation, licensure, and regulatory standards.

  • Mentor clinicians and contribute to training initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Fully licensed in Maryland as an LCSW, LMFT or LCPC.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience.
  • Expertise in trauma-informed care and multi-modal approaches.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Ability to maintain boundaries and foster trusting relationships.
