A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field is preferred.

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.
The starting salary for this position is $85,000.00.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Requires basic supervisory skills. The ability to plan, co-ordinate, and motivate employees in accomplishing the Bureau’s objectives. Knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, laws and administrative rules. The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. The ability to analyze, comprehend and problem solve accounting and auditing issues. Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and procedures. The ability to understand, interpret and apply laws, rules and authoritative pronouncements. The ability to write technical accounting and audit reports. The ability to plan, coordinate and execute Bureau resources in carrying out prescribed tasks.
OTHER KSAs (Incumbent may learn on job: Incumbent should possess and exhibit key elements of a leader, including exhibiting steadiness under pressure; displaying energy and determination, setting challenging goals, delegating and coordinating effectively, promoting innovation in achieving goals; setting example for team members, and dealing directly with challenges.
