About the Role:

The Assistant Chief Engineer plays a critical leadership role in supporting the Chief Engineer to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of engineering systems within the organization. Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage engineering projects and lead technical teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience with advanced engineering software and project management tools.
• Background in the specific industry relevant to the employer (e.g., manufacturing, utilities, transportation).
• Demonstrated success in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
