Job Description

Location: Gosford

Employment Type: Ongoing full-time

Salary: $84,659 to $92,701 per annum, plus employer contribution to superannuation.

What you’ll do

The Assistant Centre Supervisor, RSB Centres is responsible for assisting the Centre Supervisor to ensure the provision of efficient, high quality and customer-focused sound recording and transcription services to New South Wales Courts and Tribunals.

The role is challenging and rewarding and is responsible for prioritising transcription applications and service delivery according to guidelines.

You will be able to prioritise resources, troubleshoot sound equipment problems, and arrange repair or replacement of equipment to ensure timely delivery of client service.

You will also ensure the effective running of the Centre if the Centre Supervisor is absent, develop solutions to meet organisational needs, respond proactively to changing circumstances and adjust plans and schedules as necessary.

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive experience as a Sound Reporter or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Extensive knowledge of, and ability to apply, Transcript Manual standards, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Understanding of court systems, procedures, processes, or the ability to learn quickly.
