Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join its existing team.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Senior Category Manager to ensure a relevant and trendy assortment of the Category.
• Ensure that listing and delisting of products is in line with the commercial strategy.
• Assist in the comprehension of the market trends of the category and participate in sourcing new products.
• Monitor competitor’s products ranging and pricing.
• Ensure that our directly imported products give us an additional traffic of customers through trendy product and price competitiveness.
• Liaise and collaborate with the Supply Chain department to manage inventory levels by ensuring that products are ordered in time to meet customer demand or seasonality requirements.
• Prepare monthly forecast purchases to achieve budgeted sales and margin.
• Liaise with Supply Chain to manage order and stock.
• Prepare weekly sales and stock figures for all outlets.
• To monitor with each outlet the expiry date weekly and take appropriate measure.
• Analyzing data to identify trends that may indicate a need for change within a company’s supply chain.
• Ensure that the planogram for the imported products is optimized and implemented in all outlets.

Other Requisites
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing Management or any other relevant qualifications.
• Exposure in retail trades, Food act and FMCG products will be an advantage.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Positive and proactive team player with high communication, negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
