We are expanding our Procurement team and looking for Assistant Category Lead based in Swarzędz (PL). These roles will support procurement operations for the UK, Poland, and global teams — helping to manage growing project demands, implement automation, and improve procurement efficiency.

The Assistant Category Lead will work across key categories such as HR, Professional & Financial Services, NPD, Technical Services, Marketing, IT, Travel, Manufacturing, Facilities and will also support other sub-categories across our global footprint. The position will also provide administrative and operational support to the procurement function, assisting with procurement activities and supplier communication to ensure the smooth supply of goods and services for the business. This role will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Team to conduct tender process with national and international suppliers using our e-sourcing tools
  • Support Category Leads in preparing and monitoring contracts
  • Assist in sourcing products, obtaining quotes, and comparing pricing and lead times.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Assist with the Supplier Relationship Management process for critical vendors within the business
  • Champion of SAP S4 HANA/Ariba systems to enable value delivery to the business
  • Support stakeholders with engaging and contracting with new suppliers
  • Data analysis of spend to ensure there is contract coverage and look for opportunities to make savings

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 1–2 years of experience in procurement or a related area or a fresh graduate
  • Familiarity with SAP or Ariba
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to manage tasks
  • Communicative English (B2 level or higher) and Polish - required
  • Knowledge of French or German would an additional asset
  • Engaged mindset and willingness to learn and grow
