The Assistant Buyer Fashion supports QVC UK and provides essential merchandising and administrative support to help deliver a compelling product range that meets sales, margin and stock targets.

Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Chiswick Park, West London two days a week.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Buyer and Junior Buyer with fashion product range development, helping to deliver against sales, margin and stock objectives within a specific category area
  • Collate and present product, sales and trend information, including preparing packs and materials for key trading and strategy meetings
  • Manage and monitor the critical path, ensuring product information is accurate, sample arrivals are on time, and updates are communicated effectively to relevant teams
  • Liaise with suppliers on samples, product queries and administrative matters, building strong working relationships and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Maintain sample libraries, coordinate product samples for meetings, promotions and events, and provide broader departmental administrative support as required
  • Produce range review packs, market reports and competitor analysis, bringing forward new ideas and product suggestions to the buying team
  • Support the product development process by chasing samples, test reports and fit comments to ensure products meet QVC quality and safety standards
  • Raise and check product-related paperwork, including sample request forms and cost price change documentation
  • Present sales information in weekly team meetings and contribute to broader merchandising discussions
  • Assist with supplier meetings, customer service queries, meeting coordination, travel booking and other day-to-day department administration

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in a buying, merchandising, retail administration or similar commercial support role
  • Good analytical skills, commercial awareness and confidence working with sales data, product information and reporting
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across buying, planning, supply chain and supplier teams
  • A proactive, flexible and detail-focused approach, with enthusiasm for products, trading and continuous improvement
  • A problem-solving mindset, good judgement and openness to taking on new tasks and adapting to change
