We're looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for our Te Puna store. You will lead day to day in-store activity so that targets, consistency of branch standards and team capability requirements are successfully delivered.

This role will allow you to broaden and strengthen your retail management experience as well as gain access to a raft of career opportunities on offer within Farmlands.

Your key focus will be:

• Leading, supervising and motivating the team in day-to-day branch operations, ensuring tasks are coordinated effectively and the branch runs smoothly.

• Providing hands-on leadership through training and developing staff, setting a high standard for customer service, merchandising and overall branch performance.

• Overseeing stock control and cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory and operational efficiency.

• Supporting the team to achieve financial and health and safety targets, contributing to the delivery of the branch strategic plan.

• Supporting the Branch Manager with recruiting and inducting new team members, while role modelling the Farmlands vision, purpose and values.

• You bring a range of leadership skills, thrive on mentoring others and you’re eager to grow your leadership capabilities and take the next step in your retail career.

• You come from a customer facing background and know how to provide great service.

• You will have knowledge of retail/commercial operational processes.

• Experience in the agricultural sector would be ideal.

• You have sound computer skills and can pick up new systems easily.
