Job Description

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our branch banking services, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of customer service representatives, overseeing account openings and closures, and providing excellent customer support. You will also be involved in cross-selling and upselling bank products and services, as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Lead and motivate a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service.
  • Oversee and manage the account opening and closure process, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Cross-sell and upsell bank products and services to existing customers, identifying their needs and offering suitable solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative ideas to improve branch performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide performance feedback to team members.
  • Represent the bank at community events and build strong relationships with local businesses and organizations.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the banking industry, preferably in branch operations.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations, with an understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
  • Proven track record of successful team management and leadership, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using banking software and systems, including CRM tools and customer management platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive customer issues.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as per business needs.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and business growth.
