Job Description

Keys Federal Credit Union is looking to hire a Assistant Branch Manager to join our Big Pine Branch team.

As an Assistant Branch Manager you assist in the day-to-day management of your branch's operations and the managing of the staff. You perform efficient and accurate service to our members including opening new accounts and closing accounts, account maintenance, conducting loan interviews and taking loan applications and closing loans. You are accountable for daily balancing of a cash drawer and you process member transactions, such as posting deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. You answer questions from and provides information upon request to members and assist them in understanding and utilizing the credit union products and services. You pro-actively look for referral opportunities to enhance relationships by matching Credit Union products and services to members' needs.

Branch hours are Mo-Fri 9am to 5pm.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3 years customer service experience and/or sales
  • 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Experience in a financial institution preferred
  • 1 year cash handling experience
  • Ability to communicate courteously and professionally
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Sales, service and goals oriented.
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Flexible and knowledgeable to work any function for the branch.
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to motivate or influence others
  • Ability to train others
  • Work as a team player
  • Good computer skills
  • Bilingual/Spanish/Creole/Russian a plus.
