GENERALSTATEMENTOFTHEFUNCTION

TheAssistantBaseballCoachis responsible forhelping tobuild, recruit andmaintaina competitivewomen’sbasketballprogramon theRaymondCampusconsistent withall ofthe goals of Hinds Community College and the policies and procedures outlined in the Athletic Department Handbook
QUALIFICATIONSREQUIREMENTS

EDUCATIONAND/OREXPERIENCE
Education:Bachelor’srequired;Master’sdegree preferred
Experience: 1-2 years of competitive college coaching experience
Certificate/License: Familiar with MACCC and NJCAA governing rules

Represent Hinds Community College and the Athletic Department in a positive manner with a high degree of integrity and quality.
Adheres to and enforces all policies and procedures of the department and the college, as well as the rules and regulations of the NJCAA and MACCC.
Assistwith all aspects of thebaseballprogram; provides opportunities that challenge and support student-athletes to reach their full potential.
Assistwith the organization and administration of the baseballprogram, including but not limited to the following: recruiting, practice and game coaching, conditioning, academic monitoring, and public relations.
Assistthe head coach with recruiting plans andrecruiting ofpotentialstudent-athletesto the program.
Assistthe head coach in the scouting of opponents and in preparation of game and practice plans.
Assistinmonitoringallstrength and conditioning activities for theprogram
Monitor all academics forstudent-athletes
Perform otherappropriate dutiesas assigned by the HeadBaseballCoach and/or Director of Athletics thatrelatesto the success of the program.
Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the Athletic Director
