We are looking for an enthusiastic Audit Assistant to join our Audit & Advisory team in Thessaloniki and help us deliver excellence for our clients.

About the role

As an Audit Assistant, you will work on high-quality audit engagements, collaborating with your team, gaining hands-on experience and developing your technical and professional skills.

Your role will include:

• Gaining a thorough understanding of the Forvis Mazars audit approach, methodology and tools
• Performing analytical reviews of audit documentation and assisting in walkthrough procedures
• Demonstrating professionalism within client environments
• Staying informed of current economic and industry developments relevant to client businesses
• Collaborating with team members to achieve engagement objectives
• Supporting the management team (Partners, Directors and Managers) in meeting service line goals
• Working towards deadlines and budgets for each assignment

What we are looking for

• BSc in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field (MSc will be considered an asset)
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting or a similar professional services environment; experience in an audit firm will be considered an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)
• Military service completed (for male candidates), where applicable
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Team player with strong communication and report writing skills
• Positive attitude, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility
• Willingness to learn and continuously develop
