Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell seeks an experienced and highly motivated attorney to join her Office’s Gun Violence Prevention Unit (GVPU) to serve as an Assistant Attorney General. This innovative Unit, which sits within the Consumer Protection Division, works to reduce gun violence in Massachusetts through enforcement, industry accountability, consumer protection, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with government, industry, and community stakeholders.
Primary Duties: The Assistant Attorney General will work closely with the GVPU Director to advance the Unit’s mission by leading complex investigations and litigation designed to hold individual and corporate participants accountable, protect consumers, and address practices that contribute to gun violence. Position Type: Full-Time/Exempt
Location: This position may be based in the Boston Office, Springfield Regional Office, Worcester Regional Office, or New Bedford Regional Office. Office location will be determined based on the candidate’s expressed preference and space availability. Travel to the Boston Office may be required.
Salary: $90,125 to $134,513, commensurate with JD year.
