The role in more detail:
You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of regulatory audit activities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulatory frameworks, and reporting requirements. The role involves hands-on analytical work, preparation of audit documentation, and ongoing regulatory support.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Support regulatory audits, reviews, and inspections in line with applicable regulatory requirements
Prepare and review regulatory audit documentation, analyses, and reports
Assess compliance with regulatory frameworks and identify gaps or improvement areas
Support ad-hoc regulatory requests and follow-ups arising from audits or regulator queries
Liaise with client stakeholders, auditors, and Grant Thornton teams
Track remediation actions and support regulatory reporting timelines
To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in regulatory audit, compliance, or external audit
Experience in Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, or other regulated sectors is a strong advantage
Professional certifications (e.g. ACCA, CIA) will be consider as an asset
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Fluency in Greek and English, both orally and verbally
Problem-solving, analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills
Effective communication and rapport building skills
Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions
Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable).
