1) GENERAL DESCRIPTION

To handling patient at counter whether for enquiry or hospitalization.

2) JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure compliance to the termed Vision and Mission statements, goals, objectives and values of the Company.
• Responsible to have update information on room charges and status. Responsible to have update knowledge of admission procedure and facilitate patient’s admission.
• Responsible to verify all Guarantee letters, validity period, coverage limit. Responsible to collect deposit (as per schedule) and to provide prayer with receipt accordingly. Assist to send mobile patients and other related documents to the wards.
• Responsible and accountable to carry out all activities directed by the Management.

Other Responsibilities

• Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and MSQH Hospital Accreditation Standard are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
• Participate in 5S activities and comply with the specified requirements.
• Ensure adhere to The KPJ Way/ Standard People Practice (SPP).
• Ensure the policies on patients and family’s rights are addressed at all times.
• Ensure compliance to Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008).
• Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
• To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994:
• To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons.
• To co-operate with your employer or any other persons in the discharge of any duty.
• To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer.
• To comply with any instruction or measure on Occupational Safety and Health.
• Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 37001 Anti Bribery Management System (ABMS) are adhered to and responsible for integrity principles, practices, activities at hospitals and companies if and when these programs are implemented.

3) JOB REQUIREMENT

• SPM with experience OR Diploma in related field.
• Preferably with relevant experience in Hospital/healthcare business or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hospital, the brand and the Company.
• Ability to identify market segments, niches and potential markets.
• Willingness to do work after office hours/weekends/public holidays when required.
• Microsoft office literacy.
• Able to work well on multiple projects & meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Responsibility and reliability to take charge of certain projects independently.
• Willing to travel.
• Excellent English communication skills both oral and written.
• Prepared to work as a team member in the manner the best.
