Responsibilities

What You'll Do as Assistant Administrator:

Working alongside the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you'll gain experience leading the day-to-day operations of a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility while partnering with clinical and operational leaders to drive outstanding resident care and business performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the overall operations of a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility

  • Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Supporting quality outcomes and regulatory compliance

  • Coaching and developing department leaders

  • Building employee engagement and a positive workplace culture

  • Assisting with budgeting, financial performance, and operational planning

  • Supporting census development, admissions, and customer experience initiatives

  • Collaborating with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams

  • Helping ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

  • Leading projects that improve resident satisfaction, employee engagement, and organizational performance

Qualifications

Assistant Administrator

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and operational priorities
  • Commitment to serving the geriatric population
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
