Administrative Assistant – Cardiology Testing

Location: Riley Hospital
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Onsite)

This role provides administrative and technical support to leaders, providers, and care teams within a fast-paced cardiology environment. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in coordinating patient care by scheduling cardiology testing across multiple locations while delivering excellent customer service to patients, families, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule cardiology testing appointments across multiple locations
  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and support day-to-day scheduling needs
  • Serve as a central point of contact for patients, providers, technicians, and internal teams
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process invoices as needed
  • Address routine administrative and technical inquiries
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and outside facilities
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up on requests

  • 3 months: Schedule cardiology testing with minimal assistance; escalate questions as needed
  • 6 months: Demonstrate proficiency with minimal questions
  • 12 months: Fully proficient and able to support and guide others

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 0–3+ years of relevant experience; administrative experience preferred
  • Experience in a complex or matrix environment is a plus
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
