Job Description:

The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Art & Graphic Design seeks applications from an established designer for an Assistant Adjunct Professor position to teach ART 3030 Graphic Design II. This position will teach one 3-credit ART 3030 Graphic Design II course, for the Spring 2027 semester on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-5:45 pm. The Graphic Design II course description: Intensified exploration of design-based problem solving through lectures, projects and critiques, with emphases on type, imagery, and layout. Involves extensive computer use.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate degree in Graphic Design or have at least five years of experience as a professional designer required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with university teaching experience (instructor of record) preferred.
