Job Description

• Assist the Accounts Manager in overseeing the accounts department, ensuring accurate and timely   financial reporting, and maintaining a high level of financial control and compliance.
• Support and preparation of monthly and annually financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure efficient, effective operations and Provide training and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
•  Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Implement and maintain internal controls.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
• Collaborate with external and internal auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Verify payments against respective budgets before allocation and seek necessary approvals for unusual or high expenses.
• Provide expense-related information to all departments as needed.
• Review the fixed asset register and depreciation schedule.
• Review accurate charging of depreciation for all fixed assets
• Manage, coordinate, and respond to all bank-related matters.
• Act as custodian of bank and cash, ensuring proper control and handling.
• Verify and process payments for Sales Agents according to agreed policies.
• Review bank reconciliation.
• Review proper filing with evidence for each cash pay-out.Any Ad-hoc task assigned by Reporting Managers.
