Job Description

Accounts supports day-to-day financial operations by maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, assisting with budgeting and audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors to keep financial processes running smoothly.

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Ensure accurate books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Review ledger accounts, and reconciliations
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

    Process Improvement & Controls

  • Support implementation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to internal control systems
  • Control expenses within area of responsibility.
  • Evaluate and justify supplies equipment, and purchases as needed.
  • Maintain records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purpose.
  • Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise functions and activities of the department.
  • Responsible for general ledger, Accounts Payable, Profit & Loss accounts and balance sheet preparation.
  • Reconciliation and inter departmental transfers & Budgeting and asset management.
  • Day to day management of the accounts team, responsible for accounts payable and receivables.
  • Coordinate and facilitates the process of documenting accounting policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring their contracts, billing, debts, risks of further lending and ensuring the clients are 100% happy at all times.
  • Provide budgetary and financial analysis, ensure the smooth running of the cashier’s Department and to contribute to the effective cost management of the firm.
  • Assisting the management in compilation of the annual budget and to monitor the budget on a monthly basis.
  • Training of staff in areas of financial management and control, also in the routines of cash office systems.
  • Managing and overseeing salary administration, leasing/contractual agreement preparation and updation.
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries & supervising collection and credit management.
  • Credit-control-management of company debtors
  • including new customer authorization.
  • Developing and monitoring of company debtors including new customer authorization.
  • Developing and monitoring the process KPI’s and reporting the performance to the management.
  • Monthly payroll management, Preparation of flash reports, cash flow statements
