Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure effective daily operations and successful month-end closings.
Manage team workloads, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
Verify payment documentation and approve payment processes via email.
Communicate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, solicitors, and regulatory bodies regarding audit, tax, and legal matters.
Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, company performance evaluations, fixed asset management, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial closings, including the submission of financial and statutory reports.
Control the flow of accounting documents and manage the processing of invoices and service costs.
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, accounting standards, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
Validate the accuracy of journal entries.
Prepare and verify annual corporate tax submissions and monthly tax filings.
Compile quarterly consolidated financial reports for headquarters.
Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by supervisors or management.
Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field or a related area.
Knowledge of taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.
Well-organized and capable of working independently with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to coordinate inter-departmental issues and lead projects.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Goal-oriented, unified, eager to learn, and adaptable.
