Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Perform IFRS16 reconciliations (RECESH / Excel amortisation schedules to SAP) and movement / disclosure note schedules.
  • Assist in preparing annual financial statements (CaseWare and Word)
  • Prepare management reports for respective OU’s (operating units)
  • Perform monthly reconciliation for selected balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in business planning and quarterly submissions
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS
  • Perform adhoc analysis as required by management.
  • Process adhoc journal entries as per SNOW requests
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders [internal and external] to ensure that accurate data is timeously recorded
  • Deliver excellence, amidst tight deadlines

Requirements

Baseline:

  • NQF Level 7 (Degree in Accounting or equivalent).
  • 3 years’ experience in Finance functions.
  • International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Knowledge.

Advantageous:

  • Studying towards Honours
  • Newly qualified CA(SA)
  • 2 years of relevant SAP FI experience.
