About the role

We are seeking a focused and organized Assistant Accountant to support our Finance team during a period of significant growth. This 6-month contract focuses on the financial setup of our new Malaysian entity and supporting core treasury and inventory functions.

What you will do

• Expansion Support:** Assist with financial tasks related to our Malaysia market expansion and the setup of a newly incorporated company.
• Project Assistance:** Provide hands-on support for ongoing Finance department projects and process improvements.
• Treasury:** Manage daily cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and fund transfers.
• Inventory:** Perform inventory tracking, valuation, and reconciliation to ensure system accuracy.
• Reporting:** Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts and financial statements for the new entity.

What you will need

• Education:** Degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent).
• Experience:** Fresh graduate/1 year of accounting experience
