The Role:

Key responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant role include but are not limited to:

·Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

·Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with financial regulations

·Support month-end and year-end close processes

·Completing weekly Bank Reconciliations and assisting with cashflow forecasts

·Maintain financial controls and ensure accurate records

·Prepare statutory accounts and management reports

·Respond to accounting queries and support system users

·Conduct financial checks and help resolve compliance issues

·Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-first workplace culture

·Continuously develop skills and stay current with industry standards

About You:

Essential criteria:

·Educated to university degree level, or vocational equivalent

·Work experience within a financial setting, supporting with day-to-day financial activities, regulatory financial requirements and supporting internal and external customers

·Familiarity with relevant office and accounting packages
