The Division:

Vesta Software Groupacquires,managesand builds software companies across a variety of vertical markets, enabling them to be clear leaders in their industries. Our companies provide mission-critical enterprise solutions for vertical industries across the entire industry value chain.

The Role:

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of journal entries for month-end close.

• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations monthly and related reports.

• Understanding ofInternational accounting standards such as IFRS-15 and IFRS-16.

• Investigateand resolveintercompany differences.

• FX revaluation postings.

• Assistwith the preparation of revenue analysis reports (Deferred Maintenance, Run Rates, and Accrued Income) monthly.

• Quarterly disclosure reporting and templates.

• Assistinimplementingprocess improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

• Assistwith ad hoc project/analysis as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

• Strong organizational and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

• Understanding ofaccounting software, preferably Great Plains.

• Proficiencyin English and MS Excel.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Finalist, part-qualifiedprofessional qualification (ACCA/ICMAor similar), or abachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
