About the Job

Following a period of sustained growth, we are seeking an experienced, customer focused individual to join the team as an Assistant Broker on a permanent full-time basis. Based in our Midland WA office, you will be part of a close-knit team supporting our Insurance Brokers/Account Managers. As an Assistant Broker, you will:

• Assist Insurance Brokers with processing new business, policy renewals, and endorsements.
• Provide a broad range of administrative support to Insurance Brokers (preparation of documents, file management, new business quotes preparation etc.).
• Responding to and/or triaging a broad range of incoming calls and enquiries (phone, online, and email).
• Collaborate with internal teams and Insurance Brokers to ensure compliance requirements/documents are maintained.
• Developing and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

About you

As the ideal candidate, you will be a confident and engaging individual looking to build your career in the Insurance Industry. In addition, you will bring with you:

• Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification in Insurance Broking (essential).
• Experience within the insurance industry (essential).
• A passion for building and maintaining effective relationships with a diverse range of customers.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills.
• A strong attention to the details with a knack for using technology and systems.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or collaboratively based on the situation at hand.
• A willingness to learn and to support others around you.
